A Dallas-based organization that helps to fund and mentor healthcare startups has chosen KnKt'd Behavioral Health, developer of an app to help care providers track patients' progress between appointments, as one of 10 members of its 2016 accelerator class.
As a result of his company's selection by Health Wildcatters, KnKt'd co-founder and CEO Matthew Holland will spend the next three months in Dallas to receive guidance for the company from high-level business mentors. Other members of the KnKt'd team will visit periodically as well.
Consumers who use the KnKt'd software platform can access coping strategies for meeting everyday challenges and can send messages to their addiction or mental health care provider. The system's progressive questions to the individual are part of a triggered system that, based on the responses received, can result in a notification to the individual's treatment team and support network. Care providers pay the system's service access fees.
