The author of the recovery resource Rewired: A Bold New Approach to Addiction and Recovery has created an adult coloring book designed to expand individuals' understanding of their addictions. The Rewired Coloring Book: For Emotional Awareness, Healthy Living and Recovery includes images designed to foster healthier living through a holistic approach.

The author is Erica Spiegelman, a California-based certified addiction counselor who has worked with facilities such as KLEAN Treatment Center, Passages Malibu and Living Rebos Treatment Center. The artist is Charlotte, N.C.-based Leighanna Hoyle, and the book's publisher is Hatherleigh Press.

A news release from the publisher states that the coloring book is built upon the concept of self-actualization and “provides those in recovery with ways to re-examine, re-experience and 'rewire' their brains.”
