Origins Recovery Centers has announced the appointment of Patty Raymer as the director of community relations in Texas. Raymer has more than 18 years of business development experience.
"We are thrilled to have Patty represent Origins within the community," said CEO Ben Levenson. "She brings great passion and energy to her role while maintaining authentic relationships in the field. Her love for recovery is contagious and she relentlessly advocates on behalf of patients and referents."
Raymer most recently worked for the Mark Houston Recovery Center and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Outpost Recovery Club, a nonprofit organization in Ingram, Tex. She is a recovered alcoholic and has been a part of the recovery community for 19 years, dedicating her life to helping others recover from addiction.
"Origins represents what great treatment can do in the lives of those who suffer. It is an honor to work alongside the accomplished professionals at Origins," Raymer said. "From the medical and clinical to the 12-Step and administrative teams, this organization is leading the charge on meaningful fronts including longer lengths of stay, robust post-discharge services and truly strong 12-Step immersion."
According to Origins president and executive director Rich Whitman, Rayman is a natural. "Her personal battle and recovery from addiction and deep understanding of the value of treatment truly helps her connect when working with referents and families in crisis. She is a great representative of our programs."
