The Recovery Village (Umatilla , Fla.), a full-service substance abuse, mental health and eating disorder treatment and continuum-of-care facility offering medically-based treatment and customized wellness programs has recently opened.

The Recovery Village offers residential inpatient, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, sober housing, and 12-Step and non-12-Step treatment programs. The center's acute medical detoxification program addresses alcohol and drug addiction, eating disorders, and non-narcotic solutions for pain management, while focusing on co-occurring disorders and dual diagnoses.

Offering a 'full continuum of care,' The Recovery Village provides structured housing arrangements on-site and throughout the state for patients who wish to remain in a supported environment after treatment.

Mitchell Baumann, executive director of The Recovery Village, has also partnered with local counties to offer discounted continuing education and sober college programs. "We believe in a proven mind, body, and spirit approach that's different for each and every patient," commented Baumann. "The healing process doesn't end when a patient leaves our facility."

Specialized focus programs offered at The Recovery Village will include: acute medical detoxification; non-narcotic pain management; female trauma; adult wellness; and PTSD, grief, and trauma.
