The Legal Action Center has created a document addressing frequently asked questions (FAQs) about the federal Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act, including explanations of key points in the final implementing regulations issued earlier this month.

The document from the law and policy organization that combats discrimination against individuals with addictions covers topics such as the final regulations' statements concerning intermediate levels of service, residential treatment, and non-quantitative treatment limitations in insurance plans.

The document also lists a number of government agency resources offering further analysis of the parity law and its impact.

A free downloadable copy of the Legal Action Center's FAQs document can be accessed by clicking here.
