Jeffrey E. Fabacher, MD, has been named medical director of the Hazelden treatment facility in Naples, Fla., a center that features multiple levels of care on one site.

Fabacher is a board-certified psychiatrist who has worked in private practice in the Southwest Florida community since 1991. In addition, as Hazelden Naples executive Brenda Iliff explained in a news release, “His experience at the world-renowned Menninger Clinic will be a natural fit in working with the team at Hazelden for the best client care.”

Hazelden’s three-year-old program in Naples emphasizes a continuum of care and flexible service that is closely integrated with the surrounding recovery community in Southwest Florida. Clients in the Florida program retain the same primary counselor as they move from residential treatment to day treatment to an intensive outpatient level of care.

Among Fabacher’s roles in the community, he has served as president of the Collier County Medical Society and has been a board member for the Mental Health Association of Collier County.
