Elements Behavioral Health has launched a free recovery-focused app that allows individuals to find locations of mutual-support meetings, track personal issues that affect recovery, and receive tips for preventing relapse.
Called the Cassava app, it includes a database of more than 140,000 recovery support meetings, including 12-Step meetings and non-12 Step alternatives. A personal journal component allows individuals to track areas such as mood, nutrition and sleep patterns. The app also offers access to hundreds of motivational articles.
According to a news release from the national organization of treatment centers, the app represents the next generation of the iPromises recovery app that Elements launched in 2010. To download the app, visit the iTunes store or click here.
