An online forum that is being launched today will allow members of Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America (CADCA) to discuss substance use prevention strategies and share experiences on an ongoing basis.
The CADCA Community has automatically enrolled all current CADCA member anti-drug groups. Questions that attendees of this year's CADCA National Leadership Forum submitted at the association's booth will be entered into the discussion forum. The online feature also will house public policy and advocacy content.
“Our initial theme is 30 resources in 30 days,” CADCA membership manager Amy Pica said in a news release. “The hope is to provide a forum for members to access resources, pose questions, share ideas and collectively develop a learning community to promote solutions for prevention champions.”
The National Rx Drug Abuse & Heroin Summit is the largest national collaboration of professionals from local, state, and federal agencies, business, academia, clinicians, treatment providers, counselors, educators, state and national leaders, and advocates impacted by prescription drug abuse and heroin use.
