Community Recovery, a Los Angeles-based extended-care program that emphasizes addressing underlying trauma in a continuum-of-care approach, this week announced the expansion of its Hollywood location via acquisition of a neighboring property. Community Recovery has seen a doubling of its overall number of patients over the past year.
“The new space will be one where our clients are serviced by day and then in the evening the space transforms into a sober performing arts space,” community liaison Ashley Fontenot said in a Jan. 19 news release.
Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) groups and other recovery organizations also have expressed interest in using the expanded property, which also houses outpatient addiction treatment services and a community health clinic among its uses.
Community Recovery advertises a flat payment rate of $14,500 for 90 days of service, available via most PPO insurance arrangements.
