David J. Powell, PhD, president of the International Center for Health Concerns, Inc., and a leader in helping to build addiction treatment infrastructures around the world, passes along some information about a new treatment venture in East Malaysia.

The Solace will open next February in the eastern area of the Southeast Asian country, and the addiction treatment center is looking for “psychologists, addiction counselors, recovery support coaches, and primary care doctors who are interested in moving to East Malaysia and experience one of the most interesting locations and treatment programs in the world,” Powell writes.

The Solace will be located in Kota Kinabalu, and Powell describes the area as featuring lush beaches and a tropical climate. The facility will offer primary care and a one-year recovery program.

Those interested in learning more about this international development may e-mail Powell at djpowell2@yahoo.com.
