Elements Behavioral Health, a treatment organization best known for its Promises Treatment Centers facility in California, continues to spread its influence eastward. Elements has announced today that it has acquired The Recovery Place, a Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based treatment center that includes tracks for trauma recovery, dual diagnosis and Christian recovery.

Last year, Elements acquired The Ranch, a facility southwest of Nashville that has developed expertise in treating process addictions, and that facility recently has expanded its sex addiction treatment programs considerably under Elements’ ownership. Officials with Elements say the newest acquisition continues to assist the organization in filling gaps in behavioral health treatment offerings.

Elements vice president of operations Keith Arnold said in a statement that The Recovery Place’s “Christian addiction program, affordable cost, and emphasis on long-term aftercare and monitoring will complement and expand our services as we spread our reach to families on the east coast.”

The Recovery Place’s Christian addiction program combines Christian counselor-led therapies with more traditional group work and relapse prevention. The Joint Commission-accredited center in Florida has been in business since 2007.
