Enhance your NCAD experience by starting with trip to Orange County’s New Directions for Women!

Enjoy a guided tour of this special residential treatment facility dedicated to women and women with children – including two new sober living homes – followed by a special lunch and educational presentation by Dr. Pamela Middleton, nutritional blogger and physician.

During the educational session (eligible for 1.5 CE credits), Dr. Middleton will share her insights on the cleansing, holistic, and curative impacts of a nutritional diet on those in recovery. She will share tested information about eating habits and food options that can improve a client’s mood and balance during treatment and recovery, and also challenge traditional opinion nutrition in recovery.

Dr. Middleton will also provide an introduction to Homeopathy, explaining how elements of this long-time treatment method can be incorporated along with nutritional plans to create a well-rounded approach to recovery.

Founded in 1977 by members of the Orange Country Junior League, New Directions for Women responded to a shortage of affordable and accessible rehabilitation treatment services for women suffering from alcoholism and other chemical dependency problems. Located in beautiful and peaceful, Costa Mesa, near Newport Beach’s Back Bay and Nature Preserve this special NCAD opportunity is not to be missed.
