Addiction professionals in the Atlanta community and beyond came together on Jan. 21 to discuss building a recovery-oriented system of care (ROSC). The event was produced by Addiction Professional and featured three panelists to provide their insights on ROSC. The panelists were:
- Lori Albert-Walker, MSW, Clinical Coordinator of the Young Adult Addiction Program at Ridgeview Institute
- Beth Fisher, LCSW, LCAS, MAC, CCS, CEO and Executive Director of Hope Homes, Inc.
- Jennifer Angier, CAC-II, NCAC-II, Chief Operating Officer of Black Bear Lodge - Foundations Recovery Network Atlanta
In this podcast, Fisher describes where she thinks the field currently is in terms of a ROSC. She has been working very closely with the other two panelists for many years and considers them friends rather than competition. She believes more professionals should have these relationships in order to more effectively treat those in recovery.
