William White among honorees from Faces & Voices of Recovery

Recovery historian William L. White, retired Center for Substance Abuse Treatment (CSAT) director H. Westley Clark, MD, MPH, and “The Anonymous People” director Greg Williams will be among the honorees this summer at Faces & Voices of Recovery's 2015 America Honors Recovery event, the national organization announced on May 22.

White will receive Faces & Voices' Distinguished Lifetime Achievement Award, while Clark is the recipient of the Lisa Mojer-Torres Award for recovery advocacy and Williams will be honored with the Voice of Recovery Award. The America Honors Recovery event will take place on July 23 in Washington, D.C.

Other Faces & Voices award recipients announced this week are the organization Utah Support Advocates for Recovery Awareness (Joel Hernandez Award) and three winners of the Vernon Johnson Award: New Jersey-based recovery coach Melissa Killeen; McShin Foundation CEO Honesty Liller; and First Call Alcohol/Drug Prevention & Recovery president and CEO Molly O'Neill.
