Pinnacle Treatment Centers acquires new center in KY and names new executive director of Endeavor House in NJ

Pinnacle Treatment Centers, a provider of both drug-free and Medication Assisted Treatment for addictions, has acquired Recovery Works, a Residential Treatment Center in Georgetown, KY.

The acquisition of Recovery Works expands Pinnacle's footprint along the eastern seaboard from Pennsylvania and New Jersey to Kentucky. The company is looking to expand into additional states in the coming months and plans to open three additional methadone clinics this year.

Pinnacle is working to enhance the existing Recovery Works facility and will increase the current bed count from 16 to 32 in the near future. Plans are also underway to extend the current range of inpatient and outpatient services. Matt Rice, a Recovery Works founder and its current Executive Director will continue to run the facility.

"We have an outstanding reputation for providing treatment services to patients throughout Kentucky and neighboring states," said Rice. "Pinnacle's acquisition of this facility will give us the resources we need to help more individuals overcome addiction."

Meanwhile, the company has named David Lewis as the new Executive Director of their Endeavor House facilities in NJ, which include Endeavor House North in Kearney, Endeavor House South, New Life Counseling Outpatient Center, and Recovery Center, a transitional living facility, in Keyport.

His extensive experience and knowledge will further strengthen our efforts to be the leader in addiction treatment services within New Jersey and the surrounding areas," notes Joseph L. Pritchard vice president of residential treatment centers and acting executive director of Endeavor House.

Headquartered in Pittsburgh, PA, Pinnacle Treatment Centers is comprised of nine medically assisted treatment clinics in Pennsylvania, one in Kentucky, five in New Jersey and one multi-site, drug-free inpatient/outpatient treatment facility in New Jersey. The company has achieved double-digit growth since its inception in 2006 and is on track to develop additional outpatient clinics in the coming year.

Mr. Lewis, formerly the director of business development at Summit Oaks Hospital, has a record of success in driving market share and profitability improvements. He has held positions at several other health care facilities including Senior Care Centers of America in Trevose, PA, U.S. HealthWorks Medical Group, Valencia, CA, and Kessler Rehabilitation Corp. in West Orange, NJ.
