The full list of honorees for Faces & Voices of Recovery's America Honors Recovery awards has been announced. Faces & Voices in recent weeks had announced that RASE Project founder Denise Holden will receive the Vernon Johnson Award and that Herren Project founder and former professional basketball star Chris Herren will receive the Voice of Recovery Award at Faces & Voices' June 25 event in Washington, D.C.

Other Vernon Johnson Award honorees will be Alan McQuarrie, a director at the Council of Southeast Pennsylvania, Inc., and a longtime activist for insurance mandates governing substance use treatment in the state; and Kathleen Gibson, chief operating officer of Oxford House, Inc., the prominent organization of recovery home operations worldwide.

Faces & Voices also will honor A. Thomas McLellan, PhD, CEO of the Treatment Research Institute (TRI) and a leading voice for the transformation of treatment systems, with the Lisa Mojer-Torres Award for efforts that reinforce all pathways to recovery.

The Northern Ohio Recovery Association, Inc. (NORA) will receive Faces & Voices' Joel Hernandez Award for success as a recovery community organization in mobilizing resources to bolster individuals' long-term recovery. The Cleveland-based NORA has been the driving force behind Recovery Month efforts in Ohio.
