The nonprofit Recovery Without Walls of Cape Cod is leveraging funding support to disseminate a video that promotes use of acupuncture as a tool for recovery. The organization, which offers recovery support for women, is using social media outlets to help distribute the video “No Longer Craving,” which discusses acupuncture's role in preventing relapse to opioid and other drug dependence.

An $8,000 donation from the Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Bank Foundation has supported production and distribution of the video, which in less than a month after its June 30 release had reached 35,000 views on various sites.

In its 10th anniversary year, Recovery Without Walls has been a consistent promoter of acupuncture used in conjunction with 12-Step programs and therapy.
