The Father Martin’s Ashley treatment organization is using the power of social media to add inspiration to this year’s Recovery Month activities.
With more than 2,000 fans now on its Facebook page, the nationally known Maryland treatment center decided to reach out by asking its alumni, friends and others to express “what recovery means to me” in a brief statement.
The outpouring of response both on Facebook and Twitter has exceeded the scope of one month’s worth of advocacy activity. Father Martin’s Ashley is using its website (www.fathermartinsashley.org) to share the comments and spread the word to visitors about the power of treatment and the potential of recovery.
