At the NAADAC (National Association for Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors) conference this past weekend, Jerry Moe, MA, addressed the audience during a plenary session.

Moe, who is the National Director of Children's Programs at the Betty Ford Center, shared information about how to talk to children about their addicted parents, how to help them through issues, and how to work with the entire family to break the cycle of addiction.

In this podcast, Moe talks about a time when he worked with a 5-year-old boy named Jeffy whose mother was in treatment for drug addiction.
