The panelists at the Addiction Professional Panel Series event on Gambling Addiction

Experts from around the country came together to speak on an Addiction Professional panel discussion about gambling addiction. The discussion was held in Beachwood, Ohio.

In this second podcast,  the panelists discuss topics such as:

  • the assessment process
  • Gamblers Anonymous
  • the difference between gambling addicts and alcoholics
  • individual versus group therapy

 

The panelists featured in this discussion are:

Coleen Moore, marketing and admissions manager for the Illinois Institute for Addiction Recovery;

Dr. Chris Tuell, EdD, LPCC-S, LICDC, coordinator of addiction services for the Lindner Center of HOPE and adjunct professor of addiction studies in the department of counseling at the University of Cincinnati;

and Robert Cabaniss Jr., founder and executive director of Williamsville Wellness.
